np: U2 - still havent found what i'm looking for.
the cousins arrived last saturday. went with them to woodbury commons(again) and bought the coolest pair of roxy shoes. i'm in lurrrrrrve with them. also bought cool dockers shades in a very nice charcoal gray.
took the train up to connecticut to visit my cousin's uni. i passed yale on the way. both campuses are very pretty. i hope uni of melbourne is like this. lost my earring somewhere in connecticut which made me really wanna cry.
you know what else made me wanna cry? man u lost to west ham. !@#$%(%*^_$#*&$&^^
went to see the sights with the cousins like St Patrick's Cathedral, rockerfeller centre, times square, MoMA etc etc and had many nice dinners. wanted to go ice skating at central park but it was cold and expensive so we thought better of it.
today we woke up early to go see the statue of liberty. we had an option to pay $8 and actually get onto liberty island and stand next to the statue, but being the cheapo singaporeans that we all are, we took the FREE staten island ferry that passes the statue and took like 395628 pictures. at staten island, if you wanna get on the ferry back to manhatten, you have to alight walk one big round to the terminal, stand in line and get on again. instead of doing this, we, being horrible delinquents, walked to the corner and when we saw the ppl starting to get on, ran back to join the mass of ppl getting on the ferry, escaping the security guard's notice in the meantime. it was funny.
tonight my uncle and one cousin are going home and after that, i'm gonna watch my dad's hotel basketball team play. exciting stuff. hope everyone else is having an entertaining life, and 11/05, i hope ya'll have a great christmas party!
